Description

The J-6 QD Barrel Collar allows you to set up an extra QD barrel of your choosing. You can buy extra collars as needed. The Barrel Collar slips over your existing barrel and is locked in place over the chamber area of the barrel. Once installed and centered, you install your gas block and gas tube of choice on the barrel. The Collar serves two purposes: 1. align and lock into the Trunnion, 2. support the gas tube. It also comes with a carry handle that allows you to extract a hot barrel from your firearm without touching the barrel. It can also be used to guide the new barrel in, should you choose to do so. While we designed this Barrel Collar to fit most AR-pattern barrels, we understand there may be tolerance issues between manufacturers. In this case, you may need shims that fit between the collar and barrel extension so you can get an exact fit. Shims can be purchased in the Accessories section
